Go where no other wheeled luggage will let you go. Our all-conditions wheelie combines welded seams in critical areas with abrasion-fighting double-woven ShiftLayer nylon (see sidebar) that has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and a tough 90-mm polyurethane wheel system with high ground clearance. The gape-mouthed opening makes things easy to pack (and a prismatic reflective liner makes things easy to find in low light). A separate padded end compartment holds shoes or wet clothes; a divider baffle snaps down or floats to adjust to the load. The bottom pan is made from ABS impact-resistant molded foam and plastic for torsional stability, and covered with heavy-duty ballistics nylon for durability. Integrated strap-free handles won’t snag when bags are checked. The larger WeatherShed Max is useful for travelers with no set date of return
