When a product is noted with a (dv), it indicates that it is a product that has been discontinued by the vendor.  When they're gone, they're gone for good.  

When a product is noted with a (dp), it indicates that it is a product that we have elected not to carry anymore.  So again, when it's gone, it's gone for the season, or for good.  This means that you would still be able to find it elsewhere.
